Thank Yous

We haven't gotten this far without a whole list of people to thank:

First, thank you for your support.  Whether you have donated, "liked" a facebook post, or even for reading this blog, thanks so much for your contribution and interest in the Bike for Bricks.

A big thanks goes to the Heartwood Place for all of their support and encouragement.  Lindsay, Mary, Susan, Anna, and the whole team eagerly took our offer to turn this bike into a fundraiser, and have provided so much attention along the way!

Also, our two biggest sponsors, Marin Bikes California (link) and Royal Distributing (link).  These two have teamed up to hook us up with top-of-the-line bikes, cameras, much gear including clothes and bags, and publicity.  The whole team, Mark, Mark, Tim, Cole, Doug, Lisa, and others we don't even know, have made incalculable contributions to this event.

A sincere thanks goes to our places of employment, who have for each of us accommodated a 7-week vacation/leave.  Junior Achievement of the Waterloo Region, Collins Barrow Elora, and the Township of Woolwich Memorial Centre - we'll miss our air-conditioned offices!

Big thanks to our media partners - the Waterloo Region Record, the Cambridge Times, the Woolwich Observer, and Dave FM, for getting the word of our cause out there.

Thanks to all of the volunteers who have helped us, including at the Kick-Off BBQ, and to the Waterloo Running Series for hosting our Send-Off on Sunday, June 17th.

Thanks also to all of the individuals who have helped us:
- Caleb, Evan, Ian, Don, and anyone else who have given us great tips for our ride
- Coast2Coast2012 and Bike For Mike who have provided a wealth of online information
- All of our training pit-stops: Cadmans, Wiltons, Neumeisters, Hackbarts, Martins, Gillespies, Tzoganakis', Schmidts, Longshaws, Hepburns, and others
- Thanks to anyone who is pledging support along the route!
- Corinne Williams who donated two batteries for my BlackBerry!
- Geoff and Runners' Choice for helping us out with equipment!
- And on a personal note, Carly and Chris who are NOT stressed out with my very precise plans to fit their wedding into the middle of the trip :)

And finally, thanks to anyone who has ever encouraged us, especially including our families.  They have been huge sources of inspiration and motivation.

Thanks again!

Named thank you's from along the route:
- Jacques Dion from the Cafe Creperie in Elora for the water
- Pauline and family in Amaranth for hosting us!
- The Koning Keelans in Peterborough for hosting us!
- Roseanne in Havelock for the water
- Louis in Sharbot Lakes for the hookup and shelter
- Perry in Stittsville for the 15 free McDonalds smoothies
- Lisa and family in Ottawa for hosting us!
- Grayson in Ottawa for the sandwiches

OBVIOUSLY this hasn't been updated since Ottawa.  I can't do it from my BlackBerry.  I hope that our sincere gratitude comes through our blogs and facebook posts.  One day, I will complete this list!
